Question about people with certain political orientation

I doubt there is a simple answer. I have some ideas of factors that might contribute, though:

1) The media.

The US is particularly interesting because the government is split into only two parties, Republicans and Democrats, and each of this controls large portion of the media. For example, CNN is clearly biased towards the liberal Democrats, while FOX is biased towards the Republicans. Each sector of the media is constantly publishing stories to push their parties' agenda, while the opposite sector responds through the use of negative campaigns.

The issue is that the way this is done is highly manipulative. The media portrays issues as black or white, and tell you how you should feel by showing you how others feel and respond to situations. It is extremely easy to mislead the human mind and they do it all the time. When speaking in real life, one rarely encounters extremists. The reality is that most people are have more moderate ideas, are willing to discuss, willing to compromise, and willing to accept that no one is perfect. This reality is, however, not good for politics! As politicians, it is better to have clear-cut lines in order to have good voter control. It is even funny to see how the core values and ideas of politicians change from one campaign to another - these values and ideas are not personal at all, they reflect what they believe the voters want. In reality, I highly doubt the people at the top care much about gun control and gender rights, these are issues that are used to swing the voters. In fact, the reason these issues take so long to resolve is exactly because they are politically useful.

The media thus works as a force to create social polarization. Some people do get sucked into the extremes by the constant brainwashing that they see on T.V. and online articles, and then echo those ideas in online communities.

2. Dunning–Kruger effect

Politics is an incredibly complex topic. Most people - me included -, have very little true understanding of it. Unfortunately, it is very easy to over-estimate someone's understanding of a topic that they do not understand. Since politics is such a ubiquitous topic, there are many people who are fooled into thinking they know a lot because they watched some debates and read a few articles. When two of these individuals find each other, and they disagree with each other, you end up with a discussion that can't be won because both are looking at the issues with very narrow viewpoints - and lack the ability to realize the narrowness of their view.

Arguments that are fought under such circumstances will ultimately lead to angry arguers. They just 'know' they are right, but the other person isn't getting it because they are 'STUPID'. You end up with very angry people online.

3. This type of behavior appears to be more common than it really is

It may seem common to see such argumentative people, but I think they are exceptions. It takes a single individual playing the drums at 4 am to transform a nice quiet apartment complex into an annoying loud one. Furthermore, the opposition loves to find extreme behaviors and show them to everyone else to say 'SEE?! LIBERALS/CONSERVATIVES ARE CRAZY!! HAHA'

4) A million other reasons, and I don't really know what I am talking about.

Just as I provided a few explanations above, an infinite amount of different explanations could be made. It is very difficult to test how much effect, if any, each of the possible explanations actually has.

I don't know if them not doing anything in real life is true. They killed someone in Charlottesville Virginia and do a lot of rallys and marches. Heck, they are partly to blame for Trump getting in the White House.

It's just a right binoculars case. The golden era?

Lately many of yours havin been talking that a war is good and unavoidable. I don't like wars, and I the present world, because there are people which are the same animals as me. Most of people have pets, love animals, but hate each other at the same time.
Just brilliant.

The world of yesterday is identical to the previous one. So, it's highly important to stop listening to foxy bewilders, claiming to change everything sending everyone to the war. The invokers are the ones who betrayed us yesterday.

The main positive point of traditionalism is to not believe to bewilders.

So, the world is not degenerated at all, but there are some rotten rats laughing at believed them.
