Noticed some of you who use OT as your beliefs claim that you don't need to follow the commandments but only to have common sense and live not like a farmer but businessman basically. If I understood this correctly by reading some posts....but where are the OT verses for this claim?

Yes, ok. But what about nonfood laws? All are in effect still? Only some spiritual laws about which I wrote + some rules of worship to God! This is from the point of view of the Orthodox Church! Bloody sacrifice is canceled! I'm looking for islam answer . I know the Christian one! XD

Yes, ok. But what about nonfood laws? All are in effect still? Each law has to be judged by whether they still make sense based on the ethical principle. For example Leviticus 19:26-28 says "You are not to cut off the hair at the sides of your head or mar the edge of your beard. You are not to make gashes on your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves; I am Yehovah." The reason was that these things were associated with bad cultures. But now the first part, "cut off the hair at the sides of your head or mar the edge of your beard", is no longer associated with anything, so it no longer applies. But tattoos are clearly currently associated with modern degenerates, so this law still makes sense for the same reason that it did 3000 years ago.
