No idea, I'm not sure there even is a reason.

Physical level. listen to your heart and take a breath and look around you...That is all you need to know about existence of things, and of your existence in the first place. Leave the why issue unanswered.

i dont know why but i can give why "why" a shot biologiaclly speaking i think that developing a capacity in animals to ask the question "how" cosnciously or uncosnciusly would have been perfectly fine in terms of gaining information on the immediate surroundings within the context of adaptation and survival for example the brain parasite which controls worms and forces them to climb on top of trees so that they could be eaten by birds which eventually shit out the parasite so that worms could eat it again and the parasite survives, in this case one can say the parasite knowns "how" the brain of the worm works in order to navigate around the variables it needs to control it,metaphysically speaking the parasite at one point in its evoltuionary journey asked the question "how do i do X" and eventually moved in that direction. so if asking the question "how" is enough within the context of survival, why develop the capacity to ask the question why? so when you take the aforemetioned example and ask the question "why" did this animal develop the capacity to ask the question "how" you get the overarching theme of survival and and evolition which gives asking the question "how" more context but the context raised by the question "why" is not directly observable as compared to the question "how" so bio/psychologically/philosphically speaking asking the question why allows you to use logos to hypothesize the functioning of the overarching unobservable, which eventually trickles down into "how" "when" where" etc and that eventually results in your survival when it comes to unobservable rather than just the observable so if you ask me why? i would say, so that you could ask why again after moving forward from he initial why, because that initial "why" allowed you to survive so that you could ask the second why (this is basically humans asking why from thousands of years upto now where you asked why in the forum lul) but objectively even i dont know why p.s this is so meta i am proud and thankful for nature endowing us with the capacity to ask the question why life would be so boring without it
