A Kuwaiti resident was sentenced to 31 years in prison for insulting three countries on Twitter! Kuwait's citizen Abdullah Al-Saleh was sentenced by his country's court to more than 30 years in prison on several cases of insult in social networks against Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, another verdict was announced on Sunday, the Kuwaiti newspaper Al Qabas reports. alqabas.com/ Al-Saleh spoke on Twitter, as well as YouTube against the authorities of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE in connection with their decision to break off last June relations with Qatar, where he lived for six months before the start of the proceedings. "The criminal court today issued another verdict against Twitter user Abdullah Al-Saleh, sentencing him to five years in prison, he is charged with insulting the UAE on Twitter ... After this verdict, his general prison term reached 31 years," the newspaper reported. As the newspaper notes, the court ruled in the absence of the accused, since he fled to the UK. The Middle East Internet publication Gulf Digital News (GDN) reported that Al-Saleh asked the British authorities for political asylum. As the newspaper notes, before the verdict on Sunday, the court in Kuwait appointed him prison terms for other cases of libel against Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE. The convict wrote earlier on Twitter that he does not plan to serve his sentence. Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt in June last year broke off diplomatic relations with Doha and stopped all communication with Qatar, accusing it of supporting terrorism and interfering in their internal affairs. The Quartet made an ultimatum to Qatar, urging him to agree to fulfill a number of demands within 10 days, but he called them impracticable and violate his sovereignty. Kuwait in this crisis took on the role of intermediary. ria.ru/world/20180204/1513961047.html

I always try to go by the phrase, "If you have nothing good to say then don't say nothing at all." This would help prevent such situations. I mean if he doesn't like someone then he shouldn't give them attention even. I wouldn't go tweeting things I dislike. People would probably say to me to go live on an island alone if I can't cope
