Any kind of God or Gods, e.g. Abrahamic, pagan, your own version of god, or even something like The Engineers from Prometheus (2012 film).

Any kind of God or Gods, e.g. Abrahamic, pagan, your own version of god, or even something like The Engineers from Prometheus (2012 film). A powerful movie, Prometheus. So long as you just watch the first half and ignore most of the rest of it. 'Argument from design' is so clearly illustrated in it. I reckon there are 'layers' to God. So we can talk of the GOD of all Creation, and the God of this Universe as not quite the same concepts. Perhaps even a god of this galaxy too?

I believe that it’s possible and even plausible something greater than us created this. I don’t believe it would belong to a particular religion though.

I do have faith in a God mainly because I believe there has to be some sort of cosmic entity that has control over us. Nothing can’t create something so we have to have been made some how (no I am not creationist, I believe in evolution)

I know that there are super-human powers, "nature-gods" which were named by the ancient Greeks, which interact with one another and produce bad and good effects on human (potentially conscious) beings. As such, they form a system, which is the very universe in which we live, move, and have our being (which is how the Stoics defined the Universe, and how St. Paul defined God). However, we do not know whether the nature-gods or the universe are "personal" [with consciousness, thinking, feelings, and will], as the nature-gods were believed to have, in Greek mythology. So, I do not have any religion with respect to the nature-gods, nor do I believe that these gods take deliberate actions relatively to humans.{In this sense, I am a deist and I am not a member of any religious organization. Indeed, I am an anticlericalist, that is, against any religious group having the authority or the right to make a nation's social laws according to their own doctrines and moralities.}
My most important deity (god or goddess) is Demeter, or Da Mater (Mother Earth), which generated all living things on earth, is specifically the Corn- or Grain- Goddess, and was called the Healer (Demeter Iatreia), as she generates medical herbs and, I add, beneficial telluric energy: only in the last couple of centuries it has been experimentally established that there are electric currents on the surface of the earth. (This electricity was exploited in telegraph systems, etc.) See "Earth Energies": www.ancient-wisdom.com/earthenergy.htm
Lately I made a connection between the fact of telluric electricity and the Hindu praying by making one's two hands make contact when praying. Well: telluric electricity normally flows through, but it is very weak; it is whirled around the circuit, hence intensified through our nerve system and affecting injured or sluggish parts of the body. (I believe that, thus, telluric electricity can have therapeutic effects. Furthermore, the normal telluric electricity may serve to charge or recharge the embryonic brain for its involuntary and voluntary processes.) Experimental neuro-electricity is still at its beginning.
