Kalki in Hinduism is considered as an Avatar of God who will liberate the world from the clutches of the present Kali Yuga or materialistic age.

I'd go along with a notion of those of being functionally analogous (the disturbing necessity of change etc.). Maybe even drop in the Green Knight from the Grail legend.
