Shackle Cackle Tackle
Shackle and tackle rhymes that cackle
slavery or freedom concepts that baffle.
Freedom or slavery choose your shackle
to fit your strides in life with a tackle.
Freedom is a shackle made to tackle
life with choice’s noisy bangle.
Slavery is a mind shackling one’s ankle
tight with limitations waiting for rebuttal.
It doesn’t matter who applies your shackle:
society, culture, or mentality it’s still a shackle.
Freedom or slavery, whichever is your shackle
what counts is the mind doing the tackle.
I wear a relativist’s multicolored bangle
to adjust my daily shackle to my tackle.
When empty minds make a spectacle
I lose them to a silence so subtle.
When posers take me to battle
I drop them like a broken bottle.
When trials mount my back and straddle
I plant my heels into reality’s saddle.
Freedom or slavery can only shackle
those who listen to a crowds’ cackle.
My life is my struggle and battle
I am who I am as per my tackle.
Author's Notes:
Everyone seems to coin slavery with limitations and freedom with emancipation but I see both as shackles but not the type to just tie your actions but rather a gauge and beacon for your actions.
