Just wondering how many people think of each and their reasons for it.

What's your definition of "life"? Because I can already tell that our definitions are very different. When something is able to grow, move, etc. Only living things can do that. Nonliving things can't. Hmm okay, that's not a bad definition- But would this include artificial intelligence?

They are consciousness in the womb. They can hear music, they can respond to voices of the parents, etc. But they are hardly self-aware. They react to things because it needs to.

So consciousness is what gives something life? In my belief, yes. So if you were in a coma, would you have a problem with someone killing you?

So consciousness is what gives something life? In my belief, yes. I'll let my favorite Hebrew Ben Shapiro explain the problem with that position.

You said that your definition of life can "grow", and AI can also grow through learning new stuff and evolve consistently. Is that not life to you? 2. No they are not- They don't understand anything when they are in the womb, the only thing they can do is pick up information and unknowingly practise generic human stuff (like swallowing).

So if you were in a coma, would you have a problem with someone killing you? Nope, by that point I would have very little chance of recovery and I would be wasting space that could easily save someone else.

I'll let my favorite Hebrew Ben Shapiro explain the problem with that position. I'd rather not argue with a video. If you want to, write a summary of it.

Nope, by that point I would have very little chance of recovery and I would be wasting space that could easily save someone else. Well, you'd choose to die instead of trying to recover but if someone kills while I'm in a coma I would be deadly furious or if someone aborted me. That wouldn't ever be acceptable to me. Plus have you seen the videos of babies being aborted? They fight for their lives. It's brutal to watch. Sad I know someone who had to do abortion before and she refused to do it again. She said the baby was fighting her to stop her and she felt like she killed it in cold blood.

Anyway you never answered my other question, about AIs having "life". Sorry for your friend by the way, it is heartbreaking for your child to be aborted when you didn't want to have an abortion.
