I think it depends on the individual, there isn’t a right or wrong answer. I think Native Americans were generally happy. I think a lot civilizations were happy before industrialization and gold backed currency became a thing. Nowadays I think most people have attachment to material things. I believe most people would lack fulfillment without money. So they would not be fully happy, and probably wouldn’t even be content.

A person who can produce her own food and have her own home doesn't need money to survive because she has what is necessary to take care of her basic need, in this situation I think it's possible to be happy without money.

Yes. I think we'd actually learn to enjoy life more. I feel that money is a big distraction. It goes like this: there's the secret intelligence that cant be founded because instead we look straight to the money. We see that going to work and going to school are good things and we choose to conform in those ways therefore resulting in getting paid, or being blinded by money. And this isn't even big money we're talking about. I mean for heavens sake, the minimum wage around here is no more than 15$. We are consistently getting fed to believe a giant lie which communicates with being over worked and under paid. We can't see past the fact that it's just money and when we die nothing, not even our success will matter. So if you truly want to be happy accept this matter of injustice to your rightful soul and go put a smile on someone's face.

I think a person will simply be happy if they have food, clothes, and shelter. If they have just that then they have all necessities to live to be content and to be happy while not being in need. Money and other things would just be extra luxuries in their life. Of course, happiness will rise but those are just extras in life.

That's even higher than where I live

I think that happiness can always be earned! People were happy even before they invented money!

Nothing can make you happy all the time. Happiness is a temporary feeling of gladness about something at any given moment. But nobody can always be glad. I try to maintain a balance in my life. I try not to allow my emotions to rule me. To bounce back and for between happiness and anger and sadness is to lose peace. Peace is better than happiness. Now concerning money. It can certainly make life easier is many ways, but it is really all subjective, because suffering itself, like value, is subjective. And the more you have, the more you have to lose. So it is best to understand that Money is just a tool. And until you understand that, money will only ever be a problem for you in life whether you have it or not. It is an means and not an end.

Money does not guarantee happiness or satisfaction but poverty brings a lot of pain and problems for sure.

It's complicated. I've certainly managed to be unhappy because of the absence of money, but also with it. But one can be happy irrlative of money. I can see why it's considered the root of evil, since it often brings disparity.

I’d start by saying that constant happiness is unachievable as I believe you need a comparison, but contentment is just a state of mind. Perspective is a major factor in this. Having said that, in a capitalist society, by definition, a lot of things are driven by money. Money only buys more levels of luxury on the pyramid of needs.

Money can make us the richiest men, but if and only if we'll spent it correctly: not for shopping but 'd rather for beneficiarity or smth.

What does 'no money' really means? I think people with no money at all, can blame them self in many cases. In other cases people are unlucky or become sick etc. I can be happy, and be with a woman with not much money.
