RT had this interesting video today, thoughts?
Fragments of an ancient Koran have been found to pre-date Mohammed.
Using carbon dating to analyze the document scientist have concluded that this version of the Koran was in existence before old Mohammed.
Historian Tom Holland, told the Times: 'It destabilizes, to put it mildly, the idea that we can know anything with certainty about how the Koran emerged - and that in turn has implications for the history of Mohammed and the Companions.'
Looks like Mohammed and his early followers used a text that was already in existence and shaped it to fit their own political and theological agenda, rather than Mo receiving a revelation from Allah.

Yes, that's right. English isn't my native language. But I think that you're good in German just because your messages proved that you are talented man who has very good erudition. The last one is proved by your knowledges of Strawson and Chomsky. I'm not familiar pretty with Strawson too, but I've read some of his lectures (because I know just one article of him, and I even have a book with this article... but till the time I've not read it yet...; usually Strawson is published in lectures just like Saul Kripke's workings and late Witgenstein's). I didn't get along with Chomsky but I heard about him. Chomsky was similar to late local reasercher Andriy Zalizniak: Andriy Zalizniak - wiki~ (Sorry, that I found an information about Zalizniak just at Wiki. I haven't seen an info nowhere else) ...So, Chomsky did something like to Zalizniak's researches, that means - linguistics. But, my interesting is rather in philosophy of logic and philosophical logic (according to J. Passmore's classification: 'Modern philosophers', 1986). Yes, too pity it's probably truth. I think it is a classical postmodernism possition and a point of view of theirs who distanted a 'Reality', philosophers like N. Goodman, W. V. O. Quine and others. But you know, however, some links I think we could find and ever if no one of interpretations isn't fit but it doesn't mean that we are doomed to be misunderstanded. And I ain't doubt that you think the same, because you've said: . Yes, I think so. But, The New Testament could have been some different contain. But, I guess it doesn't matter so much, cause it has been adopted really normal. Many modern specialists agree about its contain. So, the main problems of the texts are philosophical problems. That's why I assume that we live in very philosophical periods and our talkings are something like in Plato's dialogues. No, no, I absolutely don't mind! You know, it's not easy to speak with in English for me just because your thoughts represented into your messages are very philosophical. That's why I sometimes have problems at conversationing Sometimes (at the present, it's rather rarely) I'm talking by e-mail with R. G. Swinburne, and because he is a philosopher it's not easy to me writining with him too, so here is the same I feel conversating with you. Thank you very much, it was a pleasure for me talking with you!
