He can, but only in Ideas. What's more important is the implementation and execution.
But yes, the person who can think about the future is truly an innovator, because he thought about something which was not there, or he/she tried to bring something new. So, this particular person can be attributed as the harbinger of change.

I am convinced that one person cannot change the whole modern world! Why? The world is too different, all people/countries desire to live every personal life and never all go after one person! Although in some countries or societies, one person can have a huge impact!

A person can easily change the part of the world where she lives, if she changes something in a small part of the world, she's changing the world, but the amount of people that causes a great change tha affects the whole world is very tiny.

According to the religious concept of Jesus is not only the common man but also God. I think Elizabeth is interested in this question about simple person, not a supernatural!

I restrained commenting until now but I think I have my answer A simple person can indeed change the world whether it is in a positive or negative way because what they do spreads and even after their death. If we use Biblclical characters then we have Adam and Eve who corrupted the world with sin and then Jesus who came to gave a way to remove it. If we look outside of the Bible we have people like Mother Teresa who did well and anspires people even today. There are also people such as Hitler who shaped the world in a negative way especially making a horrible world for the Jews and some others. So, people can impact the whole world depending on how wide their audience or ideas/beliefs are.

According to the religious concept of Jesus is not only the common man but also God. I think Elizabeth is interested in this question about simple person, not a supernatural! According to Christianity, Jesus was God even before the beginning of time. In the words of the Creed He was "born of the Father before all time." I reject however the notion of the "supernatural", the understanding of which is based on a dualism where the natural world is governed solely by "laws of nature". According to the same idea of the supernatural, hence, anything which is not explainable by natural laws, but by such things as spirits and what have you, is or could be "supernatural". What is implicit in that concept of the supernatural is a division in which there is nature governed by natural laws, and spirits which are not natural. As I said, I reject such an understanding of existence.

Gengis Khan, I think he changed the world a lot because he's the human who had more descendants.

Yes! I agree! But as I've said before, the modern world is difficult to change one person. In the Past maybe it was a lot easier than it is now!

Heck, if a butterfly flapping its wings in Brazil can set off a tornado in Texas, why couldn't a person change the world?
