My point is that dogs, generally are more loyal than people and men place a high emphasis on loyalty.

I meant real scars on my body though. . You mean emotionally I'm guessing. I just prefer humans over animals in general. Just not an animal person. But to each his own Shrug

In all actuality I prefer the company people over animals with women on a way higher ranking than dogs (and men for that matter too)...however dogs are better than cats.... with "me" being the highest ranking of all of course .

Actually, you propose an interesting point. Emotionally I am less hurt than physically and you vice versa. I'm guessing this is probably because females are made weaker in strength than males so can get more hurt physically while women are more emotionally stronger than males. Hmm.

Actually, you propose an interesting point. Emotionally I am less hurt than physically and you vice versa. I'm guessing this is probably because females are made weaker in strength than males so can get more hurt physically while women are more emotionally stronger than males. Hmm. You can tell yourself that but it is the other way around sweetheart....men have a greater depth of feeling than women because we use our pain as a strength. A man works through physical discomfort (injury, tough job, etc.) because of his attachment to friends, family, wife. So when he breaks a leg, or slips a disc, and goes back to work because it is necessary he does so because the degree of emotional pain involved with letting down or betraying someone who depends on him is greater than the physical injury itself.
Slipped disc or break up? Slipped disc 10 out of 10 times.
To further correspond on the difference, while the emotional pain may cause a greater degree of "scarring", these scars not just provide an identity for the man but a means to move over hurdles and learn from past mistakes or misjudgements.
Pain is the greatest teacher of them all.
Men can take a greater degree of physical and emotional pain than women...it is what we do (well maybe not the men nowadays...but they behave like women so....).

Yes.
Dogs are more loyal than people.
You can ask a dog for advice. If you ask people for advice, they will give you bad advice. If you ask a dog for advice, it will politely remain quiet.
My dog is my primary intellectual conversation partner. My wife gets bored when I talk about philosophy, but my dog generally looks on with enthusiasm.

The kick from the heel to the heart is much harder to bear than the wounds from the dogs!

I am pretty sure my dog knows the meaning of life...I keep asking him but he keeps staring and wagging his tail...maybe that is the answer.
