If the interpretation of an idea is not accurate and it leads to greater pathology in the world than originally intended, is it justifiable to criticize or even eradicate the idea or the ones to be criticized are those who misinterpret the idea? If you believe that the latter is at fault, how would you then propose to approach the problem?

I think we should first ask if it’s even possible. Ideas are so difficult to eradicate I can’t think of a single successful attempt to do so. The project involves determining who possesses the idea and either killing those people or forcing them into silence. On the other hand, to spread an idea, one need only talk. Books that censors wish to ban display a habit of becoming even more popular.
