1. How did the giants of old come into existence? Genesis 6:1-8 > 6 When people had spread all over the world, and daughters were being born, 2 some of the heavenly beings saw that these young women were beautiful, so they took the ones they liked. 3 Then the Lord said, “I will not allow people to live forever; they are mortal. From now on they will live no longer than 120 years.” 4 In those days, and even later, there were giants on the earth who were descendants of human women and the heavenly beings. They were the great heroes and famous men of long ago. 5 When the Lord saw how wicked everyone on earth was and how evil their thoughts were all the time, 6 he was sorry that he had ever made them and put them on the earth. He was so filled with regret 7 that he said, “I will wipe out these people I have created, and also the animals and the birds, because I am sorry that I made any of them.” 8 But the Lord was pleased with Noah. 2. What spirits came out of these giants after the flood had destroyed their bodies in the days of Noah? 3. Do evil spirits die? 4. Do evil spirits have names and behave like people with personalities? 5. Do they thirst and hunger yet eat no food or drink water? 6. When will evil spirits be completely wiped out from the earth? 7. Until the great judgment, will evil spirits continue to fight the children of God? 8. Was hell made for these fallen spirits and their children or humans? Matthew 25:41 >41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 9. Do evil spirits work with the devil to fight the children of God? 10. In what ways do evil spirits work against the children of God? 11. Who is the head of the family of evil spirits? Matthew 10:25 > 25 So a pupil should be satisfied to become like his teacher, and a slave like his master. If the head of the family is called Beelzebul, the members of the family will be called even worse names! 12. Is the devil attempting to be like God or more than God? 13. Can a river river flow higher than its source?

Can a river river flow higher than its source?Yes. This is how an aqueduct operates. By using a water-wheel, the energy flow of the river is rotated upwards in buckets which then are emptied
at a much higher point than their source.
The amusing things is that a simple device like this is infinitely better at storing energy than any messy and toxic acid 'battery'.
My apologies for this digression.
But the essence of enlightenment is to turn evil spirits into good and useful spirits.
And 'spirit' is fairly synonymous with energy too.
But its curious that the Nordic Skald mentions far more details about the ancient giants than the Judaic narratives.
God Trolls us all with such things...

This is only one kind of evil spirit, a very low ranking, and for reasons I've contemplated in my research into these things, probably not an especially numerous kind. The real enemies are what the Bible calls the Shedim, the pagan gods tied to the nations, a category which includes so many more things than just the high gods or the pantheons like the Olypmians or Aesir, because remember that most of the creatures you read about in folklore used to be worshipped as minor deities, and there were minor deities of geographic locations, nature, cities, families, nations, tribes, clans, objects, and pretty much everything and everywhere until monotheistic faiths reduced them to fairies, nymphs, satyrs, trolls, boogeymen, and other assorted fantasy novel creatures (Christianity was never actually monotheistic in the modern sense of the word and really wouldn't be thought so until the Enlightenment. Before then everyone knew that the pagan gods were real demons.)
In Paradise Lost John Milton, the Puritan lists a bunch of Caananite, Egyptian, and I think a bunch of Greek gods as demons in Lucifer's army as late as the 1600s. This was well accepted back then, even among the most fanatically rigid Protestants. For instance, the giants that Jonbain speaks about from Norse mythology, the Jotun (the word means devourer and the concept is not of a giant though they can appear as such, because they're spirits/gods of chaos in opposition to the gods of order, and as chaotic beings, they often depicted monstrously like Jormungander or Fenrir that are depicted as a dragon and a giant wolf, and Hel who is depicted as a half beautiful female half rotting corpse) later became trolls after Christianity came to Scandinavia and other Germanic lands.
