In this day and age,
the real mathematicians are computer programmers.
Why would anyone waste their time PURELY on pencil and paper math?
Beneath our fingertips on every entry level PC
is actually enough processing power to calculate the solar system
with a precision 1000x more than the NASA Horizon Ephemeris, with ease.
But processes of thinking will always be a priori to computational efficacy.
The real reason is that psychology is foundational to such thinking especially.
If your mind is full of trash and corruption then there will be no room for pure Gnostic Logos.
Most of academia is a pathetic facade of the ideal state.

Psychology? Do you know that the spirit world, the "heavenly places" are the world of the mind? This is what quantum physics implies. Jung starts studying mythology for psychological archetypes and doesn't realize he's studying a literal thing that can bleed into our world. He said that the archetype of "Wotan" was responsible for the Nazis and the holocaust. "Wotan" is in my house right now, downstairs. And yes, he was and is.
