The question arises as to the electrical nature of the mind, but from the very person who was God's messenger as regards the discovery of electricity itself, ensues the above quote.
But it pains me to add that a strike by even a bolt from the heavens (from Thor himself!) will still not in any way cause memory loss, as neither will a jolt from
ordinary household electricity.
So thus and therefore:
the mind is not a product of electro-chemical processes...
but yeah Faraday just offers the conclusive position rather than argument from logic or take it from authority
or both. (and more besides)

It's true. Not at the bottom, rather on the top. Earlier there was a concept of fire which had been used by stoics to explain our life sources.
