For me any conspiracy theory is just a theory about some preliminary agreement between people. It's possible for people to agree to violate some rules (as in different casino cheating), or to make crimes (as robbing banks, stealing the art pictures), or just to play unfair in sport (like any agreements in boxing). Such things happen all around, the whole history is filled with plenty of stories of robbing, cheating, unfair bets, and so on.
But another story is how to solve or to find any conspiracies. I think it's not so easy, yet there are some cases which spot some lights into it. Imagine a cute guy about 20, and a cute female about 18, and their friends want to know what those both had been doing in a room at night yesterday. If they answered something like - we had been talking about baseball, I doubt the friends (or many others) to believe them. The same about different cases alike.
Let's imagine that two famous boxers and their coaches met before the match of theirs. You may ask for what point why met for? And if they answered they were just sitting at café drinking coffee, it wouldn't sound trusty, so to suspect them in the cheating shouldn't be a wrong thought. Yet if they answered that they had met to celebrate one's birthday, it would sound more promising, while some hesitations might left.
Anyway, as far as I see this leads to some interesting fact about our expectations. Usually we expect the enemies (in sport or in politics) don't spend their time together like good old friends, or that a couple of young teens hide from the sight not to talk about baseball, and the same about some other politicians or corporations owners: to not met for playing in chess, or to spend their time playing some PlayStation games. Our expectations work before anything happens!
For me it seems to be more funny, than serious. Seriously, we see things too predictable. We don't expect that tomorrow Kim Jong-un will announce his marriage on Dennis Rodman, or we don't expect that Madonna will become a republican. However, it doesn't sound impossible for Miley Cyrus to announce her marriage on Billie Eilish, or that Mike Tyson will be shot in a comedy. There are some possible, and impossible things, and it seems that we've already decided which of which from them are possible.
