1) If a thing exists it can be a thing only if there is something (some criteria) which makes that thing to be that thing. 2) or else, how that thing would be able to be that thing if there were nothing else to confirm it somehow? 3) To spot or to imagine a thing it has to be able to be spotten either by our sight, hearing, etc, or by our brains 4) any singular thing doesn't exist by the same reason as in (1): it couldn't been the thing what we had been seeing 5) the above entails that any thing that exists - exists as plural, not as singular.
