And Lone told about it in the topic "Why Polish Games are so Brilliant?" few years ago. I advise "Gun" (2005) also. Nice one.

Can't say Gunslinger is the best among the others. (Surely 100% better than the Cartel though.) I like Call of Juarez (2005) – the first one. Playing a pastor – this is something. The Gunslinger is more arcade, especially the duels.

Clovis Merovingian Eugene 2.0 karlYou are welcome, guys. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger has acceptable level of replayability; e.g. it has new game plus mode, arcade mode, duel mode, collectibles, and RPG elements. I 100%ed this game a long time ago. The game could feel short but its gameplay and story/plot is interesting.

The game could feel short but its gameplay and story/plot is interesting. Honestly, it is a game worth to replay, and it is a memorable (for me). However, not so much memorable or narrative-ish as the previous parts, especially the first one. I like the story or how things go, and prefer the plot to the rest of the game. Of course, I cannot skip the gameplay, but it is the second to the game. For instance, until Tomb Raider was just&spring&grap&push objects for me it was an echo, while as soon as I got the plot I started to play and liked it. The same is about RE. They'd spoiled the game by RE2 (1998) taking it be kinda conspiracy, but not so worse as they tried to do in the next games. RE4,5,6... and so on became total crap, a historical violation. And the same is about MGS. First game (MSX) and the second (MSXII) are the reference games for the rest. Metal Gear Solid (1998) was also impressive, but starting from Metal Gear Solid II... things went really wrong. I don't know why this is happening to many games, movies, and so on. Why numerous sequels only spoil the next. But for me the plot is something to be special. That's why Gunslinger is quite an arcade. Not so impressive.

I agree that CoJ and CoJ: Bound in Blood have better stories. Bound in Blood made me sad and emotional because of its finale and ending. Gunslinger feels like a Spaghetti Western and that's the reason why I like it. Honestly, I like Gunslinger's gameplay more than the other CoJs. But both CoJ and CoJ: BiB deserve a remake.

About the gameplay - this is true. Seems like the work on errors. But there is something else I like it games. It does not depend on a game mainly. Let me introduce an example. About a week ago I finished to play "Chrome" (2003 or 2004 issued). The old game. A decent one. But what made me play it? - The answer is - because of a friend of mine. I've got a friend with whom I was discussing and chanting about fifteen years ago. He gave me a 2CD with the game, and I installed it, and even spend a few hours with it. But then I deleted it by some reasons my memory didn't saved them. Anyway, I deciced to replay it. That friend was a good one person, and well I thought that it'd be better to have some chance to finish it. And I did it. Sometimes playing games I like to open a bottle of wine, or a one of beer, and taste during the gameplay. Honestly, I don't like this new manner when a player is sitting in front of the whole world and talk nonsense and senseful things. I like when this feeling was kinda private or personal. Of course it happened when I invited friends, or they had invited me to play with them. I spend dozens (if not hunderds) of hours with friends playing different games. I liked consoles for this, and usually if to play together consoles are preferable. But there are game I would like to play PC. Unfortunately I've got almost nobody who'd like to play with me online. The idea of playing with someone you don't know isn't mine. It's better to play with the one you've been knowing for some time. The first CoJ is very memorable for me. You know, sometimes I can't play a game until some atmosphere is set. I need things be more or less suited fo this. So the gameplay to me it's kinda a ritual. I'd say that.
