Catholic priest says "pedophilia doesn't kill anyone," but bans 44 lawmakers from receiving communion because he says abortion doesA priest in Rhode Island, Reverend Richard Bucci, made national headlines last week by banning lawmakers who supported the state's abortion rights bill from receiving communion at his parish. Now, he is doubling down on that decision with a statement that's sending shockwaves through social media.
The 72-year-old priest recently passed out fliers to parishioners listing the names of all 44 members of the legislature who voted for the Reproductive Privacy Act, which was signed into law last spring. The flier stated that those individuals would also be banned from acting as witnesses to marriage, serving as godparents, and performing readings at weddings and funerals, citing "2,000 years" of Catholic teachings.

I did a fairly close study of about half a dozen such cases. In those I looked at, the judge always found in favour of the practicing homosexual, and the priest's testimony was said to be not credible.
There was no other evidence either way. And the priest was found guilty.
One person can only look at a few cases. But the pattern was consistent; in a legal system that does not see homosexuality as a mental disorder, but does see religion as a mental disorder.
I can see no reason to accept any of the claims, statistically though, a few might be real;
but overwhelmingly I can only conclude that there is most likely an attack on the church simply for the sake of slander.

The Link WHY have the cases of pedophile priests been so explored in the media, in show business and in evangelical pulpits, if their number was much smaller - both in absolute numbers and in statistical comparison - than that of Protestant pedophile pastors?
