H. Skovoroda (1722-1794) divided the World into three:
a) Macrocosm - everything that you can sight (and feel); b) Microcosm - everything that has an insight (or has an ability of insight or kinda); c) The Symbolic World or the World of the Bible.
To find God you need:
A. Aiming symbolic analysis of the world to get to your thoughts that are at the core of your heart; B. Releasing of any sight - that is changeable, not stable vision of the World - you need to make the breakthrough to insight; C. Become a center of yourself, of your thoughts glancing deeply on them, releasing from the chains of sight.
As an example, in particular, you need to find a problem in your life, then find a Bible quote. Try to correspond it to the world, or interpreting it (optional). Sooner or later you'll see that Bible's vision is more stable than World-sight vision. Your thoughts of it, or an effect of your speculations about it will bring you to the goal.
