I have many, but one is in my signature.
Another one
If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha. 1 Corinthians 16:22

1 Peter 2:4-10 [4] To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, [5] Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. [6] Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. [7] Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, [8] And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. [9] But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: [10] Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
1 Corinthians 10:4 [4] And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
John 1:42 [42] And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

Sin can be present in the world but it doesn't have to present in your life Yes, but it is present nonetheless...scripture observes Christs death was to free us from a law we continually transgress. That sacrifice doesn't apply always For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, Hebrews 10:26

So you are saying Matthew, scripture, is wrong? No. It says Peter is Peter. The verse says we are all stones...not just Jesus...in verse 5. Little stones are not THE Rock Jesus that church is built on. Apostles are the foundation only and Jesus is the rock.

Who is "this"? This is a pronoun. So Jesus was telling Peter about a rock. This implies that another thing is a rock. Just language usage rules. I teach this stuff Shrug

The verse says we are all stones...not just Jesus...in verse 5. Peter was a stone just as all believers are stones. Christ is the Rock, the chief corner stone, the head of the corner. The church is not built on Peter, but on Christ. A church that is built on Peter is a false church. Peter didn’t die for our sins, we aren’t baptized in the Peter’s name, we don’t pray in Peter’s name.

And after accepting the sacrifice you can no longer sin willfully it says So one can sin unwillingly? Yeah. I hit my student by accident the other day when I turned and he was right there. No big deal. I didn't hurt him to break a commandment on purpose.

Then why did Christ point to Peter alone as the rock upon which the church would be built.

So one can sin unwillingly? Yeah. I hit my student by accident the other day when I turned and he was right there. No big deal. I didn't hurt him to break a commandment on purpose. 1 Peter 4:8....how can it be a sin if it is unintentional?
