Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Revelation:2:5

Hear the words of the Lord, you that tremble at his word; speak you, our brethren, to them that hate you and abominate you, that the name of the Lord may be glorified, and may appear their joy; but they shall be ashamed. - Isaiah 66:5 (LXX)
I like this OT quote because it echos what Jesus taught about blessing those who curse you. This particular translation seems to only be in the Septuagint. The KJV translation doesn't yield the exact text.

my favorite is the revelations one...how'd it go again? drink from the fountain of life and you shall never be thirsty again?...all i remember is that it was in revelations...i once tried becoming a christian...did not become too successful at it at the very least in terms of faith...
i find a lot of the passages in the bible very philosophical...

Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. Hebrews:7:27
