Here you can post what is something you have experienced yourself practically, in this thread. Here is my anecdote which keeps me motivated.
_______________
Look at this pen. How much do you think it costs? 5? Right?
I paid ₹10 for it, and that's too when it was bare and all ₹10 pens have a plastic packaging around them.
What's so special?
While I had gone to pay a visit to my relatives in Gurgaon, I bought it there on the Metro Station. A small boy, drenched in sweat, must've been around 6-7 years old merely, reached to me extending his hand towards me to buy it.
In a polite tone he asked me to buy the pen. Even though I had no need of a pen at that time as I carry a pen everyday, I couldn't say him no.
I offered him some water to drink, he refused. I took the pen and handed him the money. I was impressed how hard does the kid like him work, under scorching heat to earn their livelihood. Selling pens was his bread and butter. I was immensely impressed to see the dedication of the child, as he didn't choose to beg, but to work hard to fill his stomach.
There are many such inspirations in the world, I've come across many videos of people suffering from cerebral palsy working out hard, disabled people performing tasks better than abled. So there's no point of putting up an excuse to work hard.
If people like them can work hard, every able bodied person should do that too, especially those who have no physical problems and still beg on roadside.
Moral : If you have dedication within yourself, no one can stop you from reaching to your goals.
