Chaos & fights with police in German city after hundreds, incl. far-right protest death of native.Police called in reinforcements as hundreds of protesters, including far-right activists, hit the streets in the German city of Chemnitz after the death of a native in a brawl. Two suspects, a Syrian and an Iraqi, were detained. The right-wing “Kaotic Chemnitz” (Chaotic Chemnitz) football fan group is said to have called for the Sunday rally, which later turned violent. The demo came after news broke that a 35-year-old German man was fatally stabbed during a fight involving 10 people. Two other men in their 30s, both German, were also injured during the brawl. www.rt.com/news/436949-chemnitz-protests-police-scuffles/

In Germany, the right intensified? But stereotypes work against them.

Yes we have a serious problem in germany, since the so called refugee crisis the right wings have a reason to open their mouth again. Feels like 3. Reich is just around the corner

We always had this problem but it started to get serious again since early 2015 when the waves of refugees started coming and since then it's only getting worse. The following picture shows the result of the election in 2017. The blue bar (AfD) shows the right wing party with 12.6% votes, in 2013 they only had 4.7 so they grew a lot and im afraid they could reach 20% in 2021 and if this happens im probably leaving. Edit: i failed with the picture

Where would you go if that happens? Have family in other areas? But hopefully things do improve. I'm sure you like living there.

I don't have family in other areas than germany so i wouldn't go too far away, probably switzerland or sweden. Also i don't really like germany anyway, I would love to live in a country where people wouldn't consume so much alcohol and drugs generally, especially the youth.

Many of them don't like their own country and want to live somewhere else. While I'm not saying they shouldn't, I doubt there is ideal society left somewhere in the world.

Merkel isn't the problem, the people that want the refugees to go back are. I live in the part of germany where most of the refugees come and never had any problem with them.
