I've always been against Facebook. I remember MySpace days where I can decorate my profile pretty and add music to my profile. Those were good days. They I hear everyone's going to Facebook. I'm like why do I want to get a book about a face? They're like it's like MySpace but better. I look at this book of a face and see it's all plain. I stuck to MySpace creativity. Then everyone went to Facebook permanently so reluctantly I tagged along for small chat once in a blue moon. But then died on it. It's Face wasn't appealing. Shrug

Facebook is the worst website I have ever seen, and therefore it is perfect for modern culture.
I am not against Facebook, I am against modern culture.

I do not understand how there can be with someone to make friends...imagine I'm a stranger to you and write to you on Facebook -let's be friends- Your reaction ? In vk.com there is access to music and video!

I am against Facebook, but I know when I've been defeated. When there are ~25 phone numbers of my Facebook "friends" that I acquired during one of Facebook mistakes a few years ago, when I called them up a few years later and told them where I got their number, all of them seemed concerned that Facebook would do that to them but every one of them are still on Facebook and I can call them up on the same number. It is appalling to me how many people would trade convenience for their "freedom" because they don't believe they have anything to hide. The members of the Communist Party in the USSR did not feel they had anything to hide under Stalin either.
I wanted to say that Facebook IS very convenient. You can conveniently forget that you had a phone number and Facebook will manage that for you. You could conveniently forget your email address and let Facebook manage that for you too.
I like Facebook because it is more evil than I would ever consider being. It can show the way.

It even possesses passport pictures, ID pictures, driver licenses, and other things of members. When it asked for this stuff fro me too I was like thinking, "You seriously think I'll give that to you? " Shrug

I'm sorry if my question would be too interfere, but do you against of anti-social medias, because you are socialist? And what a criteria do you use to divide social from anti-social media? You missed my point then. I call all "social" media "anti-social", because their founders didn't had plan their users to socialize. People can socialize only when they meet in person. Some would argue "but I have friends from other part of to world and facebook is the way to keep in touch with them". Lets get real, if they are really your friends you would have them all on Skype or Viber, at very least. The fact is - most don't. Ok. I'll try to be careful next time. So, do you suppose all media to be anti-social because of its anti-social direction. Let's imagine that there's a guy who wants to make his friends to be joined to a social-media portal because of some reasons. It can be a reason of far away, I mean his friends can be far from him, but he wants to talk to them. And it can be a reason of health - maybe some of his friends can't speak with him directly. Hence, do you mean this the guy's social-media would be anti-social?

Its a warfare on many levels, but for average user its a psychological warfare. So no, spending even smaller amount of time can alternate many things that you wouldn't otherwise do or think in that way. Well, ok. If you don't mind I will bring back the previous example. In those example the friends were needed in discussions, in conversation etc. They hadn't got much ability to discuss something with each other because of far distance, and a one invented a way to cross that barrier. So, they organized a s-media. But being kind and good, they made this s-media portal for everyone. Hmm, I don't think this is how facebook came to life, if you are implying that.
Correct. If they live far away they should spend less time together. Lets say someone uses anti-social media to talk to his friends only - then its not so bad (its still bad though), but like I said for that you have much better replacements like Skype or Viber. Thus whoever wants to use it for that purpose can find much better applications, and chances are he/she will. So what do you do for the rest of your time on one anti-social media? You read walls, news, groups announcement... You willfully choose to have your emotions manipulated by propaganda, subliminal messages and fake news of anti-social medias. Also sitting a lot in front of PC really alienates. Doing so you lose many things.
