I looked it up and about 151,600 people die each day. So why would anyone care about 17? Especially considering that normal Americans are the lowest form of human life and therefore most of the 17 were probably worse people than most of the roughly 151,600 people who died that day.

It's not really about people who die naturally daily but about those who die unexpectedly over a cruel event when their life was taken by someone playing as God over their life. Like if your own child was shot and killed at a school then it would not feel so ok. Some could even seek revenge from one bad act so another bad act can arise, hopefully it won't though. But I work with kids that age too and younger so would not want them hurt on my watch whether they're part of my family or not.

I am sure that thousands of children die every day, many from desease. How is this different? The killer wasn't playing God, he was just crazy.
Of course if it was my child, or even any child from a civilized culture, I would feel more badly about it. But most of humanity is degenerate and I find it very hard to feel any sympathy for them. I find it easier to feel sympathy for an animal than for most people.

>Please tell me again how gun control doesn't stop violent crimes. Because people can and do get guns illegally. Because guns are neither the only weapon nor the deadliest weapon terrorists use. Because if someone wants to do something illegal (ie. murder), they aren't going to be stopped because their prefered method of achieving it (eg. guns) is illegal. Oh, well that is a sound argument indeed. If we made guns illegal, people would break the law to get them, therefore we should not make guns illegal.
Let's piece that out: If we outlaw [X] and people still [X] we should just make [X] legal.
Drugs, murder, rape, assault. Literally any crime that is committed should be legal because people are still committing the crime.
Furthermore, you propose that the fact that we do arrest criminals, does nothing to deter or lower crime rate?
That last point though: "If one wants to murder, they are not going to be stopped because their preferred tool is illegal"(to paraphrase). Mostly true. I will give you this.
Opportunity. Capability. Intent. The funny thing is, it is also not true. This is the deadly force triangle. It must be met to use exercise deadly force. Essentially, this is what a potential attacker must have to be a threat. Opportunity is abound for a deranged lunatic. Let's be honest. There will always be areas where, someone with capability and intent can do a lot of damage. It is the other two we worry about here. Now, making an assault rifle illegal will not take away capability. You are right, if someone wants a gun, they will find a way. However, by making it illegal, policing the black market, and being attentive to trafficking, we can make it more difficult for a 19 year old to find an assault rifle. In doing so, we greatly increase the chances that at some point intent goes away. The fact is these things start out as fantasies. It's a diseased mind making plans. I think about all the times I've thought about how I would totally go Bruce Lee on a bunch of ninjas if they suddenly attacked in a mall because that's a hero of mine. These people they fantasize and plan and think about how easy it would be. Then one day they seek help. Or, one day they act. And if, when they begin to act(execute steps to perform their planned assault), it takes them 2 weeks to obtain capability, I believe there is a much greater chance they back out and hopefully seek help. The only way you will change my mind is if you can both: * Propose a method to prevent all, or at least most illegal gun acquisition * Propose a non-specific test to identify weapons that should be illegal, in a way inapplicable to anything that shouldn't be illegal. Until then, I do not see the pros outweighing the cons. This is textbook moving of the goal posts

Like if your child has cancer or something you will spend more time together most likely since they could suddenly die. But if your kid is all healthy and well you expect them to go to school and return. So you're prepared when there's a desease and unprepared if someone just shows up to suddenly kill out of nowhere.

I'm puzzled by the following video. I believe it's true.
Young lady says she was walking alongside Cruz during evacuation and talking to him, while she could hear shots being fired.
Florida witnesses say multiple shooters

katsung47 nice videos but first one didn't work. And if it is multiple then it must be Nik's brother. They both have umm mental issues. So, does anyone know where Nik's brother was? They're close so they could plan it together and have Nik take the blame. Plus the school had videos according to things I read...so why were they experiencing difficulties with the footage? They were saying based on shooter he was on 2nd floor and those on 2nd floor were saying he wasn't there. Why's that? Camera lies or someone on 2nd floor lied who could have been an accomplice? Also, all those shot but survived...who do they say it was? Do all say it was Nik? I need to know if they saw Nik shoot them. I'm noy saying Nik is innocent but if there's multiple shooters then this is how to find out. Also, the people from the office were the first to go. Was 3 or 4...only one woman returns...why does she return? Best way to hide an accomplice is to even shoot them with none life threatening wounds. Just saying.

To continue what my previous post mentioned. People have reported multiple shooters. They thought it was most likely 2. And one student was found wearing a bullet proof vest as a witness described the person shooting had a bullet proof vest. I mean if an accomplice was there it was certainly a student or staff member. And Nik just joined in the planned shooting. Seems just as complicated as the Vegas shooting and in all cases it seems cops were hiding something. I mean FBI was warned about Nik and so was the police, like dozens of times. Did they just decide to team up with him instead of listening to the warnings to stop him? www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-02-26/questions-emerge-over-florida-shooters-full-metal-garb

Oh no, there was definitely a shooting, but there was one shooter. Info Wars trying to claim there were multiple shooters is based on bad evidence and twisting words. I'm also questioning the Secret Service going to the school. They're concerned with protecting the President and other high-level government officials, and counterfeit money. Why would they be going to this high school to train people in avoiding an active shooter?

Trump "found" a way out of the situation! Now they will arm the teachers ... soon the schools of America will begin shooting teachers on the students!
