An instrumental is a musical composition or recording without lyrics, or singing, although it might include some inarticulate vocals, such as shouted backup vocals in a Big Band setting. The music is primarily or exclusively produced by musical instruments.
I like instrumental post-rock, post-metal, and ambient plus video game music and soundtracks. In my opinion, vocals do not really contribute to the atmosphere of some songs. For example, I listen to a song and I enjoy it until the singer's voice comes and makes it uninteresting.

I like Progressive metal! This includes complex compositional structures, bizarre musical dimensions and intriguing technique of playing musical instruments.

Hi my friend, I am very fond of instrumental music but my generes differ from yours they range between classical crossover strings like the track "Rain" by Simply Three or Flamenco Guitar like the piece "Dancing Shadows" by Armik or Dubstep Electric Violin pieces like "Crystallize" by Lindsey Stirling and solo flute pieces by Farid Farjad - Huzun, as well as mashups for piano and guitar like those of Maan Hamadeh's Broken Angel, and finally Ahmed AlShaiba's Oud covers for popular songs like Cheap Thrills by Sia .
Here are the links if you wanna have a listen as per the order I mentioned:

Good stuff and thanks for sharing them. I don't prefer any specific genre to other genres. I like good music regardless of the genre. The reason why I like post-rock is because its atmosphere and wall of sound are a perfect match for my ears. Just like the song in my OP. Same thing for other mentioned genre.

thanks for sharing your music and angle. I am eclectic but I have certain genre for instrumental. I guess every person has a different persona when it comes to music and that is usually mood related. It's nice to learn about other people's tastes and takes because many times you realize you have a lot to learn just by observing other people's preferences because that simply means an upgrade to yours. cheers!

It varies heavily for me. Some singers are awesome, but some would be better off if replaced by a violin or piano.

Cuntcrusher InstrumentalI enjoy instrumentals because some songs dont sound as good with vocals or its good to listen to when you want to practice the song itself without any vocals
