That was hilarious! Lol but reminds me of when I used make my own custom shotgun shells I called them redneck rounds lol I've killed more hogs with a shotgun then I can count lol =))) Did you change the shape of the shells, or mixed powder? You know, my dad, when he custom the shells he put some larger shot to it. If I don't confuse anything, he said that it was for – yes, hogs – the wild hogs. But there was also a risk to spoil the meat, so sometimes some other type of shells were being used, but I don't know which exactly. I've heard there are special shells for such cases. They easily hit any hog with a single shot.

What I did was I bought the cheap bird shot 410 wounds and I'd open the end and pore out the bird shot and then take about 4 fishing weights so pretty much just like a buck shot round then I would use them in a pump short barrel 410 with pistol handle and that was my main hog gun until I came across a hog that made me realize I needed a bigger gun we found a hog that was so big that I unloaded my 410 then a full clip of 40cal apc from my glock40 then by buddy finally got it with his M4 and when I cut it's shoulder blade open it was crazy the hide was about 1/2" thick and 2 1" layers of fat and there were about 10 rounds sitting in the fat layer didn't even make it into the muscle ! The hog looked to be about 500 or 600 lbs filled the bed of a pickup truck!

It was not an ordinary hunting at all :) Hell, that was a monster hog – no – it was some kind of a lost dinosaur, not less :) So, you run upon the hog while shooting? Or how the hog react to the first shots?

Or how the hog react to the first shots? I was in the back open bed of a truck so the driver was chasing it through one of the 400 acre fields lucky we got to it before it made it into the woods . We were deep in the country this place was so off the betin path that the closest public place like a gas station was about 45min away and the land we were on was 1400 acre of undisturbed land meaning it didn't even have telephone pols on it or through it and the only house was this old house that looked like it hadn't been lived in since the 50's and was made in the early 1800's Funny thing was we found an old liquor barrel halfway in the dirt by the house and pulled the cork out and flashed are light in there and it was about 3/4 full of something so we got a stick and dipped it in and lit the stick and you could hardly see this blue flame but we were way to chicken to try and taste it On average between me and 2 other guys we would kill about 15 to 20 hogs in 1 night There the only animal that I will kill for sport because they are a real problem here in Texas so much so that if you cut the ears off and take them to the county they will pay you 7$.50 per set as a thank you
