I don't really know where it comes from, because I've heard that some jazzmen were addicts or they got illegal things. My opinion was that those "theatre shows" or "the ministrels" did look like gypsies barnsformering, or sorta. And those menestrels used their circuses for cover to supply addicts, and other illegal stuff. This is my explanation. L.A.Noire game by Rockstar tells the same story in one of chapters.

I don't really know whom were behind it. I see the link is there. Remember the "Black Panters" the crews? They also did some illegal stuff acting like mafiosos. I've heard also that Al Capone was a big funder and a patron. I think such actitivy mostly being used to hide the criminal side of the business. Mafia clans had casinos, etc. I think those crime orgs usually have some cover ups.

Afram culture is no more of a culture than Ebonics is a language.  Their behavior comes from the unevolved wildness back in the jungle.  It has been enhanced through direction and sponsorship by  our decadent and degenerate heiristocracy into forms that appeal to this unfit humanoid species. 

Even Black-on-Black crime derives from Africa's never-ending tribal genocide.  Every Afram has a dominant tribal gene that makes him want to steal from, enslave, and kill all his neighbors. 

In Animal Farm, the ruling pigs took dogs, which have a genetic potential for vicious behavior, and trained them to let that all hang out, then turned them loose on the other members of that community.

Well, that depends. The South is a lot like Scotland actually in that it has Highlanders and Lowlanders. The Highlands of the South, the Appalachian mountains, Ozarks, Texas hill country and the plateaus and hilly land in between were settled by Scots-Irish and are very Brave heart, "William Wallace".

The Lowlands however are an extension of the slave societies of the Caribbean. My state was called Carolina in Ye West Indies in colonial times because it was settled by the slave owning aristocracy from Barbados. When the cotton gin was invented the slave society of the South Carolina Lowcountry spread throughout the Gulf Coastal plain where the soil is black and fertile and extended all the way to East Texas. The dominant culture here is of Southwestern English origin and more "Gone With the Wind" than William Wallace or Davy Crockett.

The Lowlands also happen to be where all the black people are in the South because they were picking all of that cotton that grows here. The blacks here except for maybe the Gullah have feck all African culture about them and are closer to poor white lowland Southerners in accents and attitudes with their famous "ebonics" dialect just being a dead dialect that would have been heard in 17th century Southwest England that was wiped out on purpose by the English because it sounds terrible. Being separated from their homeland they had nothing to build a new culture on other than their slave owners and the poor whites that dealt with them in an underground black market that existed between them.
