Genetics of Germans, Lithuanians, Russians, Swedes, Finns etc. This chart gives the basic genetic components for the European Nations and aligned with the reduction of East-European component (North-East-European) in different populations. As you can see all the European peoples are sufficiently different in genetic terms, and with the same set of origin of genetic components, they are nonetheless very different percentages. For all Slavs and Balts in General, one of the most important is the component for Eastern Europe, which in the high Lithuanians and Belarusians. Probably since the archeological "corded ware culture" in these countries was the center of origin of the components. It is represented by more than 80% of Lithuanians and only 20% of Italians. Purple denotes Atlanto-Mediterranean component, and it increases as one moves from North-East to South-West. So the Finns it reaches an average of 15%, and the Italians 40%. The other components are less pronounced.
