Not a abstraction, or a concept, but this pleasant feeling which pervades all creation.

There are four (sometimes, six) kinds of meanings in the word 'love' in the Ancient Greece. Most of the interpreters leaned to a view the meaning was 'agape' which meant some brotherly love, or living peacefully with no quarrels in communities. Probably 'stroge' has also close meaning to this, because Jesus Christ also confirmed the Old Testament's truth about the two main commandments, and it seems the parental love might be in some correspondence to these commandments.

Sure, but I am explicit saying about the christianity love. Not greek love. Surely, the gospel was writen in greek but the love for a christian person can be evident. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you. John 15:13,14

Self sacrificial love in benefit of others, if you wish. In religion we can talk about charity, to be charitative, as apostle Paul says.
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
1 Corinthians 13:1

Not a abstraction, or a concept, but this pleasant feeling which pervades all creation. Is it simply a pleasant feeling? In the opera "La Traviata, Alfredo sings of his love for Violetta, "that love which is the palpitation of the entire universe", or as you say, pervades all creation. Well, I don't think Jesus knew of or spoke of this kind of love. Anyway, his doctrine of salvation is based, rather, on faith in him. He called himself The Way....

The love I am saying is a love who can win souls. Not minds or intelects. A love that can make the cold hot and the hot cold, as Camões says (a portuguese poet). It's pleasant because is pleasant to be loved.
