I passed maybe five years of my life reading different versions of Tao Te King and... so, I conclude that the Tao is only a symbol and not a reality itself. Not even a mystical reality. But only a symbolical truth.

But only a symbolical truth. Symbolical? What do you mean by that? Is it all just traditions? I realize what the Tao is about. But no name can name the Tao, as Lao Tse says. And no way can be the way of the Tao. He is crescent, like a crescent moon and waning, as a waning moon. He is like the sun, who travel in the sky day after day and the tree, which growns from a seed. |

Maybe I am overreacting, the Tao, while empty, is full and while is full is empty.
So, I realize the Tao. But is impossible to realize the Tao as a concept, as I was willing to do. The Tao also can be the infinitesimal, the Tao can be the finite and the infinite, the Tao can be everything.

The Tao cannot be logical expressed, and only have his meaning in movement he produces.

Maybe a natural movement of the soul? A movement like a political move in the chess of politics? But we can only express the Tao as symbolical.

It's a kinda of movement which we cannot express in words. Ok, but I wonder how could you able to read a book about the Tao? If it's something unspeakable, then there cannot be a book about it. It's like you would tell me that there was something that couldn't be described by a word, and I asked you how did you know that you had gotten it, and you would answer that you didn't even know that you already had it. |

And to know it is to firstly formalize it to logic, and then making any assumptions. That why we have to use words to understand the nature of Tao. We can't say anything without something positive until it be given us with one of its shape. For instance, if I don't know what is a substance in my glass I have to check it making some experiments, or, in other words, I have to give this substance certain shape to analyze whether or not it has a certain smell, a certain color, etc. |

Can be considered also as a productive identity. Anyway I still don't understand what Tao is, because it's not everything, it can't be uttered by words, and along with it it is a productive identity. When I want to say that tomatoes are red or 2+2=4 I either check it by identifying with certain examples, or try to imply it from something that being identified previously. So, I come to a tomato, look at it, take a catalogue with colors, compare it, then I can conclude that my hypothesis that tomatoes are red isn't false this time. And for 2+2=4 I, for instance, take some Peano formulas as (1+1')' = 1''' = df 4 a + 1 = a' (axiom) (a + 1) + 1 = a' + 1 = (a')' = a'' (lemma) a + a' = (a + a)' (axiom) (a + a')' = (a + a)'' (lemma) If a is 1, then .: (1 + 1')' = (1 + 1)'' = (1')'' = 1'" = df 4 |
