Because I'm a complete ignorant in Economy, so I'll be using plain and common terms to explain the theme.
Ok, let's say that there are two types of persons who deal with trade: a) those who are directed on the process of making something; b) and the persons who are directed on selling something. The former type are interested in the results of their work, while the latter ones are directed on selling the product (whichever it has or hasn't been made by them). So, we can be more or less certain about those "sellers" type persons that they're about to have money, and therefore they have more capitalistic views, than their "makers" types.
So, here's a question for you: what do you think is more healthy and good for you or the humanity in general - to care about making and developing things? or to care about selling the things? Which way is yours? Would you choose to die, but to develop some good things? Or would you choose to sell something no matter how bad is it?

Results are important because you need a high quality product that is worthy of selling. Selling is also important because you need to attract people's attention to your product. What's the use of your product if you can't get anyone to pay attention to it, to buy it, or receive value from it? What's the use of over-selling a product that doesn't work? You're unnecessarily pinning these virtues against each other. A business will not be successful if one of these virtues are missing.

As Machiavelli told us in his the famous book that a ruler must have those virtues, and even more virtues to be able to become an overlord.

The Self-Indulgent Waste of National Parks Must EndIf the market is analyzed as a static entity, it will become stagnant. So there is a third contributor: those who discover and produce raw resources, without which both the maker and the seller are mannequins. So the store is staffed by lifeless dummies. Conservation caused the Depression of the 1930s. There was a time-lag because of all the producers' new inventions, so narrow-minded academics ignore that deeper reason, which was the neglect of the constant source of fueling the market. Workers can make the car, businessmen can sell it, but it is no better than junk if it has no gasoline.

Makers and sellers both seek to maximize profit. They could even produce and sell things of very low quality targeting affordability rather than seeking buyer's convenience.

I prefer to be a maker but I have a family to feed and it's hard to feed a family as a maker so I tend to get jobs as a seller.
When I worked in the gym industry before COVID hit I was on the tail end of a dieing business model
The big box gyms made 70$ of there money from personal training because a monthly membership was anywhere from 10 to 80$ a month but personal training was 45 to 100$ per hour so clearly a huge price difference between the two
Unfortunately the corporate gyms destroyed the reputation of personal training with their greed
A person will pay on average 45$ for 45min of 1 on 1 time with a trainer however that person doesn't get the kind of Quality that you would expect 45$ per hour to bring because so many people get a cut of that 45$
so by the time it's all said and done the trainers that work at that gym only make about 12$ per 45min session and your not going to be able to have 45$ an hour employees if your only paying them 12$ a session
So what you end up with is paying Rolls-Royce prices but getting a Hyundai quality as they say
While the company pockets the majority of the money
And the dishonesty and cut throat work environment will make any good person sick .
But it doesn't have to be like that
I proved it when I was in management and I was a hated man for it
I didn't trick people to get their money like others did infact I would turn people down and tell them to comeback in x amount of time when I had a better deal for them
I created such rapport with people and I had the health smarts to back it and the body to prove it That I broke every record ever set in the company and they had over 1000 locations all over America
I had my gym so well ran that are monthly revenue losses were 5% and the second best gym in the company had 18% with the average being 27% they would call me every month thinking that my numbers were wrong because they were so good
I personally sold 4x what a good sales person could do Per pay period and I wasn't even in the sales department I was the manager and yet I put everyone to shame
And I tried sharing my techniques and business model with corporate but was met with nothing but resistance and hate
Since I came to the conclusion the world runs the way it does not because it has to but because those in power are ignorant and lazy and greedy and lack the intelligence to change.

When we want to get clothes made, we got to OUR TAILOR, who knows our preferences, tastes, color, and he stitches clothes for us. Similarly, our barber knows how to do our hair style. But, capitalist societies no longer respect the skills of people, and view them as resources. When it comes to operating system, how many people on this planet, would need computers in day to day life? Apart from big government agencies, and defense department, there's hardly any use of computers. But, microsoft has made sure that everyone is forced to use windows machine, and there are PCs which organization sell, again, a sellers market, who create products by exploiting the skills and labors of people. But, if we come to a point, where people will make, what others want, then it will do lot of good for humanity, environment, and also, earth. Unfortunately, presidents of society are power hungry, which only runs on money, and they sell out themselves for greedy capitalist's, who need cheap labors to exploit, and always, third world nations will keep on getting created, who will supply rich fat capitalists with such indentured house cleaners.

I can agree with you, but only partially. The truth is that we cannot say that capitalist societies no longer respect the skills of people, and view them as resources. it's not necessary. The reason of why such an attention exists may be laying in many other factors as the existence of large countries, or the battle for the resources, etc. Who said that the world is not the same as it was 30 centuries ago? Now we've got vehicles, helicopters, or planes, but a man is still the same. That's why I cannot say that I accent any modern theories as like they better explain the thing which are actual as for today so for XII century B.C. Also, I agree with you about the Microsoft the one I do not like one bit. I'd say it's not only me who doesn't like it, but this company is too large to just ignore it. (Compare this case with my words about the existence of large countries. It is extremely hard to deal with any too large things.) "presidents of society are power hungry, which only runs on money, and they sell out themselves for greedy capitalist's, who need cheap labors to exploit, and always, third world nations will keep on getting created, who will supply rich fat capitalists with such indentured house cleaners" - Can't say I agree with such a thought. I hear in these words only the rage and desperate. They're not constructive. If you remember the Rome Empire (RE) you can see that RE run their provinces the same way. There are too many factors which are cannot be ignored. It's easy just to run and to shout something like this, but the biggest problem is that shouting cannot do anything for real. Do you think that only capitalsts are so bad? Perhaps you have never encounter any dictators in your life, or you're just lucky to not see the war. I am a witnesses of it, I think I can say about it much more, than you. I hope one day you'll understand that your words are not sound.
