Patience works against me. I am passional in all I do, and to wait is a good thing. But be patient... I don't think is a good thing, specifically for me.
Don't worry! I am lazy too. And you know I thought - why not to satisfy my own laziness?! Our ancestors did that - they were less hurrying persons. I'd say many people two or more centuries ago didn't rush everywhere.
Therefore, for me to be patient is to satisfy my own siesta! Very very very very very long siesta =) =) =)

sociable and open-minded because always solutions come from outside.
I have found a couple of internal solutions when both sides of an issue were given from outside.
Your points are good when your interlocutor and issues allow it, but in religious discussions, that does not seem to work, especially when discussing moral issues.
How do you tell someone sociably, who is thinking immorally, that he should change when he does not care about his moral sense, and for instance, might be adoring a genocidal god and his homophobic and misogynous religion?
I think all one can do with those is use tough love and move on as they are likely obtuse.
