We may have a thread on this already but I can't seem to find it so this one will work. I can always combine them into one thread later if I locate the other one. Anyway, enjoy and post your own too

That's rather selfish. Anyway, there is nothing to hate, if everything is perfect or suitable for your life. If unsuitable, it is impossible to love one's life, for it does not exist in isolation from a world. I don't see it being selfish to not let things get to you in life. If people did that more it'll solve a whole load of problems and crimes. Otherwise, they'll hate, steal, murder. Just actually found out about someone I know who kept living different lives and causing problems so he was just killed. Hasn't been even 24hours since I heard and I'm still shocked since he promised to change his life for the better. If he actually loved his life and cared about himself as he should've then he'd still be here today. There's still looking for who killed him too. I am sorry about anybody getting killed, but, as you said, he was causing problems; he did not get killed because of a lack of self-love. I know that, for instance, it is useless and counterproductive to be regretful about something one omitted to do in the past -- that we cannot undo the past -- but it is the human lot to suffer in some way or other, and inhibiting what we are or become will only make ourselves (psychologically) worse. [ I accept my Fate, even though at times, in the ancient ways, I curse it or the Gods.] Sorrow springs eternal, in innumerable ways...
