What is your favorite book? At the moment, it is difficult for me to put some kind of book in my rating, but it will be a scientific and historical work anyway!

The Hobbit Lord Of The Rings Fellowship Of The Ring The Chronicles Of Narnia The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe The Chronicles Of Narnia Prince Caspian The Godfather To Kill The Irishman The Anatomy Of Fascism The Communist Manifesto To Kill the Irishman? What is that about? It’s a true story about an Irish-American racketeer and gangster Danny Green who takes on the Italian Mafia in the 1970s. The end result is the fall of several Mafia families and the defection of high-ranking mobsters. The Mafia finally killed him but it resulted in a massive Mafia war. There is a movie about it and it’s even better than the book.

Olaf Stepldon two best books, in my opinion, - "Last and First Men" and "Sirius". Hard and innovative Sci - Fi with different brend of ideas, about human evolution (LaFM) and uplifting of animals (dog) (Sirius).. that almost no one ever read of know, for some reason.

- Napping I read. 'The Metamorphosis' and 'The Trial'.
I like 'Metamorphosis', but don't like much 'The Trial'. I wanted to read 'The Castle', but now I have no time for this. I want to reread 'Zaratustra' of Nietzche; to read F. Ankersmith 'Sublime Historical Experience', and finished 'After Virtue' by A. Macintyre.
I read in the book 'The American Philosopher' by J. Borradori that W. V. O. Quine (a. philosopher) in his life read only E. A. Poe, but he had read all his works. I also love Poe, and I want to read some unread books of him.
And also there are some interesting books I'd want to read soon: R. Collingwood 'The Idea of History', J. Passmore 'Modern Philosophy'; finished Aristotle's 'Analytics', and reread G. E. Moore's 'Principia ethica'.
And I want to find and buy some books: 'Logic-Philosophical Tractatus' by Wittgenstein; D. Chalmers 'The Conciuos Mind' (Great book!!); D. Davindson 'The Truth and Interpretations'.
...Ahhh... There are lots of books that I want to buy and read!.. but...
Please, do not be offended by me, for all my long talkings... ))

The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I went into it expecting to be bored, having seen the Disney animated film so many times before. I couldn't put it down. Had the pay a portion of my innocence but in return I got a truly magnificent book that I've read twice now. I cannot wait until I've forgot enough of it to read once more.
