It seems that things have changed quite a bit since i've stopped watching. It seems that they're focusing more on the sports side of sports entertainment and that is an idiotic thing to do. Professional Wrestling will always fail as a sport because it is scripted. The outcomes are decided in advance and why would anyone watch (and I know i'm stating this in the simplest way possible) fake fighting when they can watch real fights in MMA. Wrestling has always been first and foremost entertainment. People watch because the characters, storylines, and antics on the show are entertaining. The matches which are part of the equation are secondary and themselves include stunts, crowd psychology, shocking moments and the like and are as much a form of entertainment as they are an athletic exercise. |

I fall into the "other" category. I began watching it only because my bros (since older than me) took the remote and decided what to watch. Then when they began working high school...the remote was all mine wahahaha  |

Oh yes, I distinctly remember when Kelly Kelly first showed up and did her striptease thing on ECW. I was in middle school at the time and that kind of burned into my memory . Yes, the women wrestlers of the WWE used to be these insanely beautiful models. My favorite growing up was Torrie Wilson. |

I don't think we watched when females wrestled because I always remembered thinking why are these guys half naked, fat, and fighting over a belt..have they not something better to do? |

Nowadays women wrestlers are actually legit wrestlers but back then they were underwear models there for T&A. You shouldn't have been watching them and neither should I have. I bet your brothers were watching them extensively however. |

I bet you're brothers were watching them extensively however. No, they were just watching the fat half named men since I was glued to the tv then so I watched what they watched and don't remember any female wrestlers. Plus, Walker Texas Ranger, Rambo, and just all these kind of shows and movies and I watched them all with them. Loved most of it though except maybe just plain wrestling. But yeah I know they aren't probably considered fat and it was just muscle or whatever but to me in seemed too much unless they played as Rambo or something then I'd understand But before they actually wrestled and just walked down the what I called "show off runway" I was always like oh come on that's just not normal |
