Yahweh, it is written, created us in his image.
He is described as a vile genocidal and infanticidal god, a demiurge to us Gnostics Christians, and is responsible for a religion that has become homophobic and misogynous and who grew Christianity by inquisitions and murder.
This is not surprising given that so many of Christianity’s moral tenets are immoral. Christianity lacks moral tenets with which to convert. It takes pressure and force to believe the weird Christian take on the otherwise decent Jewish beginnings of their religion and god. Christians should have usurped some decent god as without Midrash, Yahweh is more like an evil Satan than a good god.
If you think you are created in Yahweh’s image, and able to do his evil and good deeds, are you happy about it?
If you do not think you are up to Yahweh’s evil ways, are you happy about it?

It is indeed sad that those who profess themselves to be Gnostic Christians, who in reality should have known more about God and interpretation of scripture, don't leave up to their name anymore.
You should know that this unholy and undivine conception of God you have described was a mere creation of the spiritually undeveloped Jews's minds and that it should not taint the name "Yahweh" or "Jehovah" anymore than the loathsome attributions to the word God should taint the Spiritual image of God.
Thus you are to observe discretion in distinguishing where Yahweh is really speaking and where the corrupt priests are speaking in his name to achieve their own ends particularly in the old testament.
Moreover, nor is Christianity, I mean as its founder Christ Jesus presented it, to be blamed for the blunders and mischievous acts and deeds, some of which you have named like misogyny and murder, that resulted from its misapprehension and deliberate misrepresentations by its professed votaries.

Yeah he is probably bigoted to his own views. But I would recommend he reads scripture with a more philosophical attitude and of course provided he is well acquainted with ancient religious symbols and allegories since many scriptures are full of them.
