When I was a kid I saw something that I couldn't explain. It was at night and I was in the bathroom of my grandmother's trailer. I was on the bathroom sink digging around in the medicine cabinet when I came down off the sink and turned to my right. There, just standing there staring at me, was a being that had the appearance of your typical gray alien. I was immediately paralyzed with fear and beyond that traumatic moment I remember nothing else. That memory of the grey alien was blocked or suppressed and it only resurfaced later on. So it happened that I believed that I saw an alien and I was rather phobic about the prospect of seeing them again. Even on those documentaries they have about ufo's and aliens scared me whenever they would show a mug shot of that bug eyed terror. I'd get on the internet at night and look up all sorts of websites that discussed ufo's and aliens, always a little afraid to look out my window lest I see one of them staring back at me from the darkness. My cousin's swear up and down that my grandmother's (actually great grandmother) trailer was haunted. They had nightmares and would wake up with scratches on their arms and legs and I think one of them thought they saw a ghost, but its been so long sinced I discussed it with them that I don't remember for sure. In retrospect from where I am today, however, between what my cousins report and what I saw there seems to be a definite connection between the paranormal and encounters of the third kind. I must have been about 16 when I first had my first religious conversion. By then I think I had already been familiar with the theory that what people called aliens were actually demons, but it wasn't until my conversion that I became certain of it. After all, these things are malevolent beings that kidnap people out from their beds to perform all sorts of terrible experiments on them. They sure as hell did not come in peace, but have their own agenda. Agents of Satan. As I made it through my formative years and started to go to college I rejected my faith in favor of "science" with a mild interest in the occult. I had to reinterpret what I saw when I was a kid and what I decided on was that it was a hallucination caused by a hynagogic/hypnapompic dream state. That what "science" says about these sorts of things so that's what it must have been. As I learned more about the occult, however, I came across concepts like tulpa and egregores (thought forms produced by group minds) I began to speculate if it was possible that these beings and other paranormal phenomena were real psychic entities created by collective unconscious of the human race or some such thing. I went through most of my 20's thinking like this. It wasn't until my second conversion experience while I was in jail that I had to look back and once again reinterpret what I saw and the only thing that makes sense is that it had to have been a demon. So that's the short form of my alien story. There is more that I could write about, but its not all really organized in my head so I may add more to it later.

The alien phenomena of today mirrors our European ancestor's myths of fairies which were not little winged pixies in their original incarnation but otherworldly eldrich supernatural beings that kidnapped and murdered humans. My therapist is a woman who's seen strange things that I with my knowledge of mythology and folklore of Europeans can identify as beings from European mythology. She has problems with getting scratched and seeing ghosts as well as her young daughter. She and her daughter were born in the caul (the placenta were intact at their birth) as are one female every generation in her family which in mythology people born in the caul are supposed to have the second sight and were chosen as witch doctors.
Anyways, all of this is connected to the demonic forces of the Bible. The apostle Paul in his letters when writing about eating food sacrificed to idols stated that sacrifices to idols are not sacrifices to real gods but to demons. He also states that the real enemies of Christianity and mankind are not mere men but principalities, powers, thrones, and dominions in the heavenly places all terms of geographical rulership. In the Old Testament, there is a part where the angel Michael faces off against a spiritual being called the Prince of Persia the spiritual power behind the empire of the same name and later in the Bible the prophets admonish the kings of Tyre and Babylon call out the spiritual power behind them "Lucifer Son of the Morning". When the Pharisees slandered Jesus they said that Jesus was casting out demons by the power of Beelzebub. Beelzebub is the god Baal of whom Jesus affiliates with Satan.
The point is that the Bible in the Old and New Testament seems to equate the gods and spirits of pagan myth with demons and fallen angels. All the myths are true, the pagan gods do exist and the stories told about them have some truth but they are not gods, they are demons and they do seem to appear as whatever thing exists in the popular imagination of the time. I suggest reading a book by Hebrew Scholar Michael Heiser called the Unseen Realm which goes into this more as well as Gerald R. McDermott's book Gods Rivals for more information.

I don't believe in aliens just demons taking different forms. But I love the stories!
So that being said..what was the look on his face when you two made eye contact? Like it was happy to see you for experimentation to give you amnesia or mad that you were in the bathroom when it needed to go potty? Or something else?

@clovis Merovingian You hit the nail on the head, and I will look into that book. I find it interesting that Aleister Crowley, the infamous occultist, summoned an entity known as "Lam" that looked like this: Looks a lot like your typical Grey, don't ya think?

I will hope that it only knocked you out or gave you amnesia so you wouldn't watch it going potty. So you do believe it was a demon? Because they can take forms of people, animals, etc. Because I've seen a demon taking my aunt's form before and it gave me an inpleasing look when we made eye contact before it disappeared. Was on the evil holiday Halloween too. Worse experiences always happened to me on that day.

Samhain, the holiday in which Halloween approximates was a time where the Celts believed that the boundaries between the physical world and the Otherworld (the spirit world) were thin and where gods, ghosts, fairies, and ancestor spirits could walk freely among mankind. Like I said, I think there's something to these myths except these things were demons.

Like I said, I think there's something to these myths except these things were demons. Not only are there certain days where the veil between our world and the spirit world wanes, but there are certain places where the veil is thin too. I think one of those places is at Kilough Monument near where I use to live. Kilough Monument is a memorial to a pioneering family that was killed supposedly by Indians. It was a massacre that happened in the 1800's. In the 1930's the WPA erected a monument there that looks like an obelisk. Local lore says that devil worshipers go out there to hold their rights and I know personally of a guy who's sister went out at night to Kilough monument and saw out in the field a dead cow surrounded by candles. There's creepy stuff that goes on out here in the boondocks. I can't help but wonder if the paranormal activity of my great grandmother's trailer may have been related to heightened activity at Kilough Monument.

I agree, have you heard of David Paulides missing 411? It's a series of books where he documents a lot of eerie and strange disappearances throughout American national parks all over our country and in other countries as well. There are many freaky elements that these disappearances have in common but one that keeps showing up is that the areas where these people disappear often have evil names like devil's rock or devil's crossroads and the like. He theorizes that these places were named this by settlers for a reason. It's probably where the veil is thin as you said.

And I've done research about Halloween and stuff I've experienced and I did learn that on that day some people call out for the evil spirits to roam the earth.

However, since Greys are known to pass through walls and float about its likely just spiritual. Tell me more about this demonic apparition of you grandma that you saw. Sure. But it took the form of my aunt not grandma. So this was like in 4th or 5th grade I think and the thing of course appeared on Halloween day. So, I lived not too far from the school I went to but my parents never liked me walking home from school unless I absolutely had to. No buses took us that close either since they focused on longer distances. Personally, my area needed a bus as many thought but it was how it was. And I lived in a bad area then so all the more reason for a bus! Bad stuff happened there all the time. Like someone was either killed or something because after school once we saw a pile of blood on the sidewalk not far from the school and cops there. I had to take that same sidewalk home. Never was able to walk where the blood was after I saw that huge blood puddle. I always walked around that spot. A kid I knew went missing in that area once and we never saw him again. My friends and I were the last to see him after school when we all started walking home. The next day his mom showed up at school crying and asking if anyone knew where he was. So yeah bad things happened in that area. My dad worked full time so he couldn't drive to get me. My mom worked part time and sometimes picked me up and other times she couldn't. Then once my aunt and uncle came to visit from Ukraine. They stayed with us with their two young kids. One was probably 6 years old (boy) at that time and one was like 2 (girl). So since they stayed with us then most of the time my aunt was able to come get me while her husband was out working with my dad or somewhere to earn some money while they stayed here for a bit. So I got used to her picking me up from school with her 2 kids and then me walking home with them. It was rare that I walked home alone then but still happened every so often. Then after a while I knew they'd be leaving to go back to Ukraine so I'll be walking alone again if my mom can't get me. So then that Halloween day came. I walked outside of the school with my friend just chatting about random stuff. I turned to look where my aunt always waited to pick me up and there she was. She was standing there and looking at me. We made eye contact and it just seemed off. She just stood there like a statue with this cold/unpleasant look on her face. I shrugged it off as it being nothing and turned to my friend to tell her bye because my aunt was there already to walk me home. After we exchanged goodbyes which probably was like 5 seconds in length, I turned back to where my aunt stood. Then I just froze. She was gone. I was confused and was like there's no way she'd leave without me. So was trying to come up with something that made sense. She was always waiting for me near the street normally where a whole bunch of kids would wait for their parents and where parents waited and then we'd walk down a long street on that evil sidewalk. So you can't see that long street/sidewalk from where I was standing unless I walked to the street where she waited on the sidewalk with a whole bunch of people. So was thinking, "She probably walked further down the street/sidewalk that we need to walk on because she brought the 2 year old and kid ran off so she went after her." So I fully expected to see her when I got to the street and turned into the direction we'd be walking to. Didn't happen. I was more confused now. Thinking, "She couldn't have walked down this long street home so fast without me seeing her to just abandon me." So I just stood for like 3 or so minutes looking around all the parents and kids being shocked and confused. Then I was like well that cold look on her face probably meant she was mad at me or something so maybe she's playing around and is hiding and will jump out from a bush or something to scare me. So, I slowly started walking home. Made it home without seeing her or my cousins. No one was home either. I was confused, scared, upset, mad, etc. So I picked up the house phone and called my mom. "Mom! Why did auntie come to school and not walk me home? That was so mean of her. What was the point of her coming to school anyway?!" And my mom replied, "She didn't come today. I dropped them all off at the airport about 3 hours ago before going to work." I said, "Not possible, I saw her like her 30 minutes ago at school waiting for me where she always waits and wearing what she normally likes to wear." "She was already on the plane then. I have to get back to work now." So then I was 10000000% freaked out then. Scared to be home for 3 hours until someone got home and especially because I never liked that house we lived in because I thought it had demon spirits too. But that's another story. Waited 3 hours near the door of the house in case I needed to run for my life since felt that thing was still there watching me with that cold look. 2 more things. 1. My aunt loved wearing her purple jacket. She used to wear it a lot with jeans. I even told her I liked the jacket a lot. That Halloween day she wore that jacket with jeans. 2. When my mom finally got home I was able to feel a bit better and actually move around the house. I sat on the couch and she went into her room. She returned with a jacket. My eyes got all freaking huge and felt like I was gonna have a heart attack but I was just froze staring at it with my eyes wide. "Here. Auntie left this here for me to give to you since you liked her purple jacket so much". "Uhh I don't like it anymore! Get rid of it please!"

Clovis Merovingian , Yes I have heard of David Paulides missing 411, but I haven't looked much into it. I've read quite a few stories about people disappearing and reappearing in some other part of the world so these thin spots are no surprise to me. The Hoia-Baciu woods of Romania comes to mind. Lots of legends about people disappearing, paranormal activity and ufo's. Hoia-Baciu ForestElizabeth , Yikes, that does sound pretty freaky. Are you sure though that you didn't just mistake someone for you aunt?

I was looking for her and that bright purple jacket. Would be hard to miss the jacket if anyone wore it. It's like spotting Barney the dinosaur among the normal dinosaurs .
