Wow, it is like surreal these images. But good thing we were able to capture such an event.

yeah that would suck. But in case of the other collision we have no evidence of living things anywhere else so most likely no one was hurt by it.

I do not think that there is life there! And if there is life then they are in trouble then!

God help any living beings in those two galaxies! ... In four billion years, our Milky Way galaxy will collide with the Andromeda galaxy, head-on. sad-1 yeah that would suck. But in case of the other collision we have no evidence of living things anywhere else so most likely no one was hurt by it. I do not think that there is life there! And if there is life then they are in trouble then! Disagree... I believe the universe is teeming with life. No tellin' how many millions/billions of souls perished in that cataclysm!

It's awful! I am glad that in our galaxy, no such disaster in our time!

You guys talking like every lifeform should be similar to humans. We are no more than dust creeping surface of one planet.
I remember reading sci-fi book where some cloud of space dust was on the course towards our solar system. It would've closed us from sunlight for thousands years and all live on Earth would've perished. Team of scientists was assigned with designing a plan of countermeasures. After long observation of the cloud and processes inside it one scientist proposed crazy idea that it's actually living being. He tried to send signals to that cloud and it replied. After awhile they learned to communicate and cloud decided to change its course since it didn't want to destroy an intelligent life.
The story offered completely new perspective of what life is or could be. In these galactic collusions life could still flourish. Just not in the form familiar to us.
