Fortharris,, my first reaction: Who wrote this "The Gospel"? Then I saw the "Bible References" which the author adduced; so, my attention turned to the substance of The Gospel. It is a summary or theological ideas which have appeared in modern times, like that of "to be God-like". This was actually anathema in the Hebrew Bible, for the legendary/mythic Eve was tempted to be like the gods (with the knowledge of good and evil). And now that you are like us (says the God, the El of the Elohim),... Cf. Genesis-1 for the rest. I was hoping that your link took the reader to a real "*To Euaggelion Iesou Khristou", predicted by German Biblical scholars as the basis of the four synoptic Gospels, the original collection of episodes of the life and deeds of Jesus of Nazareth (translated into Greek and possibly rephrased by the four evangelists or by their "Secretaries"). As the Gospels are biographies of Jesus, the Ur-Gospel [To Euaggelion] must have been likewise.
