Many people struggle to keep their weight in check as they get older. Now new research has uncovered why that is: lipid turnover in the fat tissue decreases during aging and makes it easier to gain weight, even if we don't eat more or exercise less than before. I did not explore the link, but I know that many who get older also seek easier lifestyles. This can slow down the metabolic rate, and we end up burning less calories than we consume. Many who remain exploratory (not in a rut) active tend to burn what they consume, also this boosts the metabolic rate up again. As long as they remain active, they can keep their weight in check.

New research? You have to be kidding, this is obvious.
Solving this is easy, fast regularly as I do to force lipid turnover.
