Summary A study of hundreds of years of family trees suggests a man's genes play a role in him having sons or daughters. Men inherit a tendency to have more sons or more daughters from their parents. This means that a man with many brothers is more likely to have sons, while a man with many sisters is more likely to have daughters.
A simplified diagram in which men either have only sons, only daughters, or equal numbers of each, though in reality it is less clear cut.

Yup, a female can only give an x chromosome to the child. The father will then give an x to make it a girl or give a y to make it a boy.
But this part doesn't seem too true in my family though. Because my family should be having more girls but it's about equal with boys in the lead by 1 or 2. Next baby should be girl. Predicted in 2020-2022 for my brother.

I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS. IN THE BOOK OF GENESIS IT HAS A STORY OF GOD CHOOSING WHICH SEX OR GENDER YOUR OFFSPRING WILL BE AND WHICH PERSON IS GOING TO BE BORN FROM WHO AND AT WHAT TIME.
GOD TOLD ABRAHAM HE WAS GOING TO HAVE A SON WITH SARAH HIS WIFE IN ONE YEAR OF TIME AND THE SON SHALL BE CALLED ISAAC. SARAH WAS NOT GETTING PREGNANT UNTIL THEN AND I THINK SHE WAS 91 YEARS OLD WHEN SHE HAD ISAAC. SHE DOUBTED THAT SHE WOULD GET PREGNANT BECAUSE SHE WAS AN OLD WOMAN.
WILL IT BE A BOY OR A GIRL? YOU WILL FIND OUT WHEN THE BABY COMES OUT OF THE WOMB. IT IS COMMON TODAY IN THE USA AT LEAST THAT PEOPLE DO NOT SEE THEIR OWN SIBLINGS BEING BORN FROM THEIR OWN MOTHER AND THE FATHER MAY NOT BE THERE TO WITNESS THE BIRTH EITHER.

This doesn't contradict scripture. A man cannot on his own choose to give an x or y chromosome to make the baby a boy or girl. It's chosen on the father's lineage/genes just as God put emphasis on the descendants of the male in the bible. God chooses the gender in the end but through the males body. If that makes sense. |

THE POST SUGGESTS THAT WHO YOUR ANCESTORS ARE A DETERMINING FACTOR IN WHETHER YOUR CHILDREN WILL EITHER BE BOY OR GIRL. I ARGUE THAT THE ANCESTRY IS NOT THE DETERMINING FACTOR.
GOD HAS A PLAN AND DECIDES WHO YOUR NEXT CHILD WILL BE. GOD IS IN CONTROL OF EVERYTHING. HE KNOWS WHAT WE KNOW NOT.

Yeah... I learned about the chromosomes in the high school already... And I was not very interested in biology.
Unless there is some hidden meaning behind it, something that it proves? This is what I do not know.
