The first and major mistake made by the author of this text is comparing American "diversity" to European. These are two completely different things, and what worked in America doesn't have to work in Europe, and vice versa.
What I am talking about here is the fact that the country known as the United States of America were built by diverse people, so diversity is in fact a fundament of this country. People of different background came there to build it and to live there. Europe on the other hand is a group of different European nations and ethnic groups. Countries here emerged by the effort of our ancestors, the diversity here didn't worked in "American way". Even nowadays you can notice the fuss about some cities that after border changes ended up in a different country than it originally was.
Diversity itself is not something bad, many European countries were multicultural long time ago. The problem lies in how "liberal" governments are trying to deal with this modern kind of diversity in Europe. I put that word in quotation marks, because many people use this term for something that is just as liberal as North Korea is democratic.
I doubt, however, in this slightly paranoid concept about the end of Western culture. Western culture was threatened already a lot of times, but it survived.

Of course Liberalism is a terminal cultural illness. But today's Right is not the cure. Only religion is a cure.
Liberalism is analogous to cancer. Just as cancer causes cells to undifferentiate, liberalism causes cultural undifferentiation. Keeping out foreign cultures only addresses the symptom, not the cause. The primary cause of culture is religion. So even a group kept in pure isolation will lose its culture if it loses its religion. Today's Right seems to have no understanding of history.

Last time I was checking, the religion was the reason of the problem, not the solution.

The first and major mistake made by the author of this text is comparing American "diversity" to European. Not his mistake though. He is deliberately referencing and criticizing the views of American exceptionalists and other Americans who think that the American model is so good that other countries should welcome America's efforts to spread it.

What do you think? Is liberalism "the model for mankind's future" or "the ideology of Western suicide"? "Liberalism is idealism taken to such an extreme, it becomes laughable because of its absurdity, its shameless detachment from reality; It is an incurable mental illness." ~ Anonymous
