I love trains, especially, non AC classes, because, journey on train is probably the moment when we get to see glimpses of the destroyed world. Passage through forests, dens, rivers, floating bridges.

air conditioned, yeah, indian railways have these bogies also, like air conditioned, sleeper coach. long time back, they also had FIRST CLASS coaches, which was exclusive for elites.
it were britishers who brought railways to india, so they used to have luxury coaches for themselves, once they left, their slaves, the BROWN SAHIBS emulating them, typical of what indians are good at anyways.

Cars and boats/ships for me. I like planes too, but not for long distance travel.

By plane is always a new feeling. More quickly, more comfortable, and what is the most important (the main one) that all the people are more politely and calm, while by car or by train they are like little children at the Zoo.

A sea-going ship. I've crossed the Pacific Ocean in one already, from San Diego to the Persian Gulf(Dubai) and back.

Is it really so magnificent city as many says?
