The agreement, drawn up in Munich on 29 September 1938 and signed on 30 September of the same year by British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, French Prime Minister Eduard Daladier, German Reich Chancellor Adolf Hitler and Italian Prime Minister Benito Mussolini. The agreement concerned the transfer of the Sudetenland by Czechoslovakia to Germany. The next day, a Declaration of mutual non-aggression was signed between Britain and Germany; a similar Declaration between Germany and France was signed a little later. This untied Hitler's hands for his further actions!

Czechs BounceMunich was used as justification for the Vietnam War by gutless traitors who used their undemocratic power to get their equally pro-war hypocrite sons out of having to fight the Communists. After our defeat there, the required conclusion by these same powerful Chickenhawks was that Munich had been a bad analogy. Those who are hired to tell us what to think are very simple-minded. No one is allowed to suggest the possibility that if Chamberlain had stood up to the Nazis, the Allies would have been bogged down in Czechoslovakia and, as in Vietnam, lost because of the cowardice, corruption, or pro-fascism of the people there. After all, they later let the world down by surrendering in 1968 It was obviously an insincere talking point, so we should at least consider that the rejection of it was also self-justifying. Especially since re-thinking "appeasement" was excluded by these authoritarian irrationalists.
