Some Asian languages are funny. Like Ching Chong sounds funny. Also, when Mexicans play their music really loud in California it just sounds hilarious like someone dying and singing and a cat beating on drums and meowing in agony for being forced to play.
So what about you. Any languages sound funny to you?

Also, I was in Nicaragua and while I have no problem with the Spanish language, you are right that their (Latin Americans) music is awful. I mean like really, REALLY awful. You have described it correctly I think.

Dutch sounds pretty funny to me. Greek sounds ridiculous. I’ve heard Elizabeth speak Ukrainian in conversation with someone and was taken away. German sounds hilarious sometimes. English Jive is perplexing. Spanish can be annoying depending on who’s speaking. Portuguese sounds like Spanish but isn’t Spanish. Clovis showed me old English and I loved it. Arabic sounds mean. Asian languages are kinda weird, Chinese in particular is ugly. Japanese sounds funny to me. Australian English is fun to listen to most of the time. Punjabi(Indian) is strange. Other languages I haven’t heard too much.

Either way glad you like it.

It was the Middle English you PMed me Yeah, Middle English was what was spoken during the High Middle Ages in England (the age of castles and nights, lords and ladies etc) and it does in fact sound awesome. My favorite language of all time is Old English or Anglo Saxon which was spoken before the Normans invaded England when the English had a culture similar to the vikings. This is the original English without any French or Latin. It sounded like this.

Very very few Old English words are the same as Modern English. Old English almost sounds German, which is what its parent language is if I'm not mistaken.

Old English is a West Germanic language carried over to England when the Angles, Jutes, and Saxons from Denmark and Northern Germany conquered what would become England from the Romanized Celts that lived there interbred with them and culturally dominated them creating English culture.

I'm not sure what country it's spoken in but I had several Hmong speakers in high school. So haven't heard the language in a while now.
