A new discovery by European archeologists in Jordan, in the Black Desert -- which was green when humans gathered grains (etc.), crushed them and made Pitta (unleavened flatbread) -- baked on flat stone slabs heated over a hearth's fire. (Apparently agriculture started later on in this region, the Levant.) www.haaretz.com/archeology/MAGAZINE-earliest-pita-14-400-years-old-found-in-jordans-Black-Desert

I wonder why some discovered don't get resused. Is it a must to preserve them?

This archaeological site in Jordan is shortly after the Bolling warming and is the oldest Natufian site known. The warmer climate allowed a higher population density resulting in the more complex sedentary hunter-gatherer behavior of the Natufians. After a setback from the cooler climate of the Younger Dryas period they established a core area around Mt. Carmel in Israel. They likely performed rituals on this mountain, since it has been a holy mountain as long as the recorded history of the area. The ritual center at Gobekli Tepe was likely established after Natufian religious culture expanded to include most of the Fertile Crescent and a more monumental site was needed to unify the different ethnic groups. This is the first revolution in Plato's History.
