Scientists have tracked down a genetic mutation which took place 6,000-10,000 years ago and is the cause of the eye color of all blue-eyed humans alive on the planet today.  Variation in the colour of the eyes from brown to green can all be explained by the amount of melanin in the iris, but blue-eyed individuals only have a small degree of variation in the amount of melanin in their eyes. |

There is a hypothesis that the gene for blue eyes arose in people Y-DNA R1a1 Indo-European people! Blue eyes existed among Western hunter-gatherers (native Europeans) before the arrival of IE people. But it seems Blond hairs is related to IEs. |

But it seems Blond hairs is related to IEs. Maybe but obviously the migration of the Indo-Europeans influenced the distribution of light eyes in world! |

It doesnt bother me that I have dark eyes. But I think blue eyes are more beautiful, but im not sad because of my eyes or put any thought into it. |
